Grant Fuellenbach
Founder & Construction Technology ConsultantGrant has spent 10+ years at the intersection of construction and technology — starting as a drone operator and photogrammetry specialist, moving through LiDAR implementation, and eventually landing on a pattern he saw in every company he worked with: the operations couldn't keep up with the revenue.
After helping dozens of builders fix the same five problems in different orders, he systematized the process and founded Beyond the Bid. The platform and consulting practice have since helped over 312 builders install the systems they needed to scale — without hiring a COO or burning out the owner.
Grant's approach is hands-on and opinionated: he doesn't give builders a menu of options and wish them luck. He identifies the highest-leverage gap, builds the system, trains the team, and measures the result.

Beyond the Bid operates across two channels:
- The Podcast: The Beyond the Bid podcast gives builders at $500K–$5M access to the frameworks, conversations, and case studies that usually cost $10,000 to get in a consulting room. Guests include operators, technologists, and builders who've solved the same problems our listeners are facing.
- GO First Consulting: The consulting practice is the implementation arm — where we actually install the systems. Engagements run 6 weeks minimum and include everything from cost code audits to AI tool deployment to full JobTread implementations.
